Sitting on the steps, raising a glass of ouzo to Uli at his house in Mylopotas. Here is where I feel his presence the most - it was his favourite place ever. I'm delighted at what Robbie's doing with the place & I think Uli would be too. It could've worked out as a terrible mistake, but I tend to follow my gut instincts & so far it's been a great success. Robbie loves living up here & as an inveterate walker doesn't find it too remote & I'm happy to have one of our mutual friends living up here & bringing it alive. Had a wonderful few hours looking out over the view, chatting, reminiscing, sipping ouzo & feeling Uli all around. Yes, there were a few tears as well, but the happy memories outweighed the sadness. I'm so grateful that I was able to live so many happy times with the big love of my life on such a beautiful island. I'm also so happy that Uli isn't suffering any longer and that his healthy self is with me wherever I go.
