new vegas companion quests be like you have to give your companion a prostate exam between 3am and 2pm on a tuesday and after that sleep exactly 5.6h which will trigger a conversation that will send you on a fetch quest across the map to talk with certain key npcs already involved in other quests (btw if you've done any of these quests before the npcs will not talk to you and you are fucked) after which you'll need to gently shake your computer to wake up the sleepy spirit of pre-war america to read you your horoscope. and after that your companion gets +15% attack speed.
