Do you have any ulquihime fanfics that you like ?
YES! So many! Before I started writing my own fics, I read almost everything I could find that was complete (some incomplete) and in English. Among my favorites from back then are Cruising for Love by StrawberryMerry, Say You Believe by OveractiveImagination29, anything by Mahi Mahi, Down With the Sun, by lilarin, and I Am for You by Enisy.
When I started writing, my dear contemporary and current partner in crime, EIV, was writing Rejection, which I loved. Of course, I love everything we’ve written together and the things I’ve written on my own (otherwise I would not write it, obvs). It’s hard to pick a favorite of ours, but I recently reread Paint Your Picture (All Night Long) and it really is a punch in the gut kind of good. My short fic, He Waited, is probably my favorite one I’ve done that is complete, although I have soft spots for my WIPs.
I haven’t had a lot of time for reading these days, and IDK if Tumblr is not recommending me fics or if people aren’t really writing much these days, or if they are, just not talking about UH fics here, but Wanting and Having by Sparky09 (noschoolformrpool here) is so promising. Just skimming the ulquiorra/orihime tag on Ao3 now yields some interesting finds. It would be really cool if people reblogged this post with a comment or link to their favorites, too, so we can remember and celebrate the stories we’ve enjoyed so much!
