"Finally, some action." Bass smirked, and teleported to the outer wall of the new Wily Castle. He made no effort to hide his approach-- with Treble by his side, he simply walked toward the oncoming machine, excited to finally stretch his legs.

"I dunno who, or what you are, but you stumbled into the wrong evil fortress. I'll give you a headstart-- ten seconds to walk out of here with all your bolts still in-place!" He called out to the unknown robot approaching the facility, "10...9...8..."

"The pursuit of a personnal goal, the tribulations that comes with it, and their subsequent overcoming could be seen as a form of... sentience, if I may say so myself; And don't try to deny it, the doctor was kind enough to teach fear to most of its machines, and his two geometrical lackeys are way too talkative NOT to have higher intelligence."
