#ultimate phantom cortex

BEEFY art trade for @mysteriousdragon2 AKA Redmachine!! She has tumblr now! She asked for me to draw M. Bison and Ultimate Phantom Cortex fighting, with a city up in flames (and psycho power) in the background. It was fun airbrushin the psycho power effects in there. Also as u can see it’s actually kind of an old art piece; I was saving it until she made the tumblr account cuz we were discussing that for a while. 

I rlly wanted this piece to look like some kinda anime fight scene, lol. I think it’s pretty dynamic... also I made their outfits (and UPC’s hair) rlly flowy for dramatic effect... and because Dragon likes to draw Cortex with very dramatic hair, so I like to mimic that whenever I do trades with her that feature him or UPC. Also this was my first time drawing M. Bison. he is difficult to draw because he is fucking beefy. 

Anyways yeah go give Dragon a follow! She is new to the website and could use the support! I don’t know if she’ll post the corresponding art trade image for this post right away, but whenever she does: it’s a drawing featuring my gijinka design for Meta Knight, and a gijinka design for Axe Knight I don’t think I ever posted.

Another art trade piece for Redmachine ft Ultimate Phantom Cortex. I know, he looks different from the last time I drew him, but there’s a reason for it! His design was recently updated; Redmachine drew a ref sheet for him! So this time around, his colors and outfit design are taken from that. This piece is SUPER background heavy, to the point where (even though it took me 2 days to work on said background) it def took up the majority of the process. Good for me, getting into background art and painting. 

Ultimately, it was good for me to work on this! but honestly I’m so tired lol. I think I’m gonna go to sleep after I post this.

Another piece I made as an art trade with https://www.deviantart.com/redmachine2016 featuring CTRNF’s Digital Tropy, and Ultimate Phantom Cortex, which is her own design. Once again, redmachine isn’t exactly active on DA anymore, but I felt that credit was necessary here.

Basically UPC is invading Tropy’s digital space, and his presence is causing a disturbance in the data, corrupting the coding of the digital world and Tropy himself. I had fun painting in the corruption effect, it’s something I’ve never done before!
