((MOD EDIT HERE:

I know not every thing is exactly clear through the comics but there is a reason Alph and Louie were picked specifically if you didn't know. One being the Ultimate Wraith has control over them because Louie ate the Water Wraith, and Alph was possessed so they both have residue in them. Free weapons against the captains!

The other reason is Spark wanted them specifically. If you remember Spark has a grudge against Louie for the Titan Dweevil incident, and Bumble for Alph because he sacrificed her sister to poison an enemy.
