“Shaggy, I don’t know why you insisted on bringing me out here today. I could’ve studied just fine in my room or in the library, and I wouldn’t be combatting-- achoo! -- my allergies,” Velma said, swiping at her nose with the sleeve of her sweater. She kept her book tucked tightly under her arm as she looked around the park.
“Actually, we did, like, have an ulterior motive,” Shaggy admitted. “Right Scoob?”
“Reah!” Scooby agreed, trotting ahead and wagging his tail happily. He knew he wasn’t going to get yelled at.
Velma furrowed her brow and frowned at the other male. “Shaggy, what’s going on?”
“I want you to meet some people you’ll find interesting, Velms, that’s all,” He soothed her, looking around. “They said they’d be here today...”
