Ingredients: 5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup butter. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup chopped green onions. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon.
Instructions: In a pot of salted water, boil the potatoes for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are soft. Put the potatoes back in the pot after draining them. After adding the butter and milk to the potatoes, mash them until they are smooth and creamy. Shred the cheddar cheese, add the sour cream, chop the green onions, and season with salt and pepper. Put the mashed potatoes in a dish to serve. Add cooked bacon that has been broken up on top. Enjoy while hot!
