♧Most people would be pretty angry if someone knocked them out and left them tied up alone in a cabin for a few days without once checking up on them or allowing them to use the bathroom or even eat. Perhaps Nagito should resent Kazuichi for his part in subjecting him to the aforementioned situation. Surely anyone that had overheard their first interaction after Nagito had first been freed would assume he'd been using sarcasm when he'd thanked the mechanic for being so gentle with him...
...But Nagito had indeed meant every word. Kazuichi had been so kind, to not break all of his arms and legs or something! If only he could return the favor somehow!
It had only been a few days since Peko's execution. It genuinely broke his heart, that she and Mahiru had died, two talented girls full of hope who hadn't had enough time for their excellence in photography and swordsmanship to spread hope to its full potential... but at least he was unbound now! He now got to witness the hope everyone had that Fuyuhiko would come back to them soon and that they'd finally find an escape route on the third island! And surely, that hope would win in the end, Nagito mused as he went to the restaurant.
No one had been in the lobby downstairs or even anywhere around this island, which meant they'd probably all gone to the third one without him... oh well, it wasn't like he deserved their company! Except no... there was Kazuichi, sitting at one of the wooden tables. Oh... how lucky! Nagito immediately took the seat in front of him with a huge smile.
"Hello there, Soda-kun! How are you today? It sure is a beautiful morning, isn't it?" There were a handful of dining utensils on the table; Nagito grabbed the sharpest knife available and idly twirled it between his fingers.
"No one's outside, either! Isn't it wonderful that no one can see what's going on here right now?" He "casually" placed the knife down, the handle pointing towards Kazuichi, then proceeded to lean back in his chair, tilting his head so that his throat was clearly exposed.
"You know, I've always found it odd that no one ever seems to try to dispose of corpses here... it's not in the rules that you can't. Someone could probably just throw a body in the ocean, place some rocks on it... let it wash away all the evidence... by the time someone found it, the blackened would be impossible to prove... even Tsumiki-san likely wouldn't even be able to find out when I died!" Well, there went any notions of subtlety...
