Day 9 - Last Bell / Ultimul Sunet
May 31st is the last day of classes.
The beginning of the schoolyear is marked with First Bell ceremonies; the end by Last Bell ceremonies. I really appreciate the book-ending of the year with these to ceremonies, providing time for reflection and celebration of what’s to come in the beginning of the year and what has been accomplished at the end.
For Last Bell, Boris Dînga, my volunteer home for two years, will be decked out in red, blue and yellow, our students will be neatly dressed in white & black, we’ll recognize those who’ve performed best in the school, district, and even country, and we’ll say many thank yous and goodbyes.
