"IT'S PIRATIN' TIME MOTHERFUCKER GET RAILCOIND" - V1 probably idk i heavnt playwed ultrakill (Death Odyssey Chiptune Cover)
Song for a random Minecraft ARG I came up with this month
It's about a player named LilToru17 searching for something that they can't remember
Also Tõru looks r e a l l y similar to my Pocket Edition skin cuz originally it was gonna be me instead but then I switched to using OCs instead so it would be easier to come up with the story eeee
I dunno when I'm gonna make it a real thing tho
little ultrabox my clematis cover (for the soul. yk)
12/1 edit: fixed the panning and changed the main melody to square wave lmao
Recreating this song in beepbox, like the last Earthbound one, required hunting down a few samples and then adding some more. While it's not AS funky as some of the other tunes, this track still has it's merits and the samples I've sprinkled throughout are all meant to pay homage to the fascination with robots both in the MOTHER series as well as in the music and films that it's creators likely grew up with. There are some samples among the smörgåsbord of sounds from two similarly-named songs about machines by James Brown and Sly and the Family Stone. It just felt wrong not to include them in some way. Is it more ethical to make a machine that isn't totally soulless? Or is putting soul into a machine an injustice in and of itself? These are questions for philosophers, perhaps.
