Some people don´t just dream about having a castle, they sink their lives effort into reconstructing one - or if not a castle then, like in the case of the Ulvsborg in Denmark, a medieval noble country estate from 1150.

This is the location of our event last weekend and Eric and his wife have sunk their combined efforts into financing and organizing the building of the Ulvsborg. It is not a reconstruction of a previously existing site, but a place that could have existed.

The sad part is that they really have problems to attract visitors and good reenactment groups to come and currently it´s mostly used for LARP events.
