With a happy little hum, Quinn gave her husband a kiss on the cheek.
Edward smiled as he sat at the table having breakfast. “Morning honey.” He said casually kissing her back.
🍞 and Ash giggles from her high chair, clapping her hands.
Edward blinked. “Good heavens.” He said picking up the bread. “Strong for a child... I feel as though this may have been a mistake.” He said before smiling. “But you’re so adorable, aren’t you lil ashe~” He hummed. “The cutest little wolf magic girl~”
"Sweetheart, think of it as a vacation away from here." Quinn tried to soothe her husband as she packed Ash's diaper bag for the trio back to her own world. It was time to pay a visit after all.
Edward sighed. “I try, I really try. And... I won’t stop you. Of course, I have to aid you.” He said as he focused on the aether in the world, feeling into Quinn’s home and focusing on the Aether there. “I’ll even come with.” He chuckled as he looked at his ‘smart phone’. A device that befuddled him greatly. How could a phone be smart? “I just... Worry.” He muttered. “Worry a lot.”

Standing out in the open under an umbrella a gothic girl with the palest skin one could imagine stood in the open. “Ah! Hello there girlie!” She hummed. “How ya doin today? Bit sunny for my tastes, but, hey!”
A long dead return
To one with far keener ears than his Calder’s hesitation must have been maddening. It took minutes for him to raise his fist, ready to knock on the door. He hoped that this was the right apartment, that his memory hadn’t failed him, that she hadn’t moved, but when one up and disappears a great deal of change can occur. Finally, his hand contacted the door, a dull knock ringing out and making him jump ever so slightly. “Q-Quinn?” He half said, half whispered.

“Spirits! Ah, please, I’m sorry. You surprised me. How- how are you?”
