It's the little things. Some fun editing bits today:

At the doorway, the initiate stood silent, his earlier strikes against the pell stilled by a summons. From a single window, the afternoon's radiance cast a halo over plated shoulders, knighting them in formality.

He was nearly as tall as the Vindicator—impressive for a human—yet it was his story that truly reminded the Draenei of himself.

Does this even count as drabble?

Technically @deyn-thunderspell is shipped with another OC of mine, Midnattsol (my first priest ig actually) at least in Umbral. It's all very himbo meets disaster princess. They're tertiary but love me some levity characters.

Liora is our resident femme fatale and her sole mission in life is to teach Midnattsol how to use her feminine wiles I guess. Oh, and ruin Faran's life (paladins lol).

Anyway. Was having fun with a little freewrite:

Mid starts to whisper, “Wait, Liora, please, don’t—”

FWEEEEEEEEET!!

Liora whistles through two fingers like the pact of an approaching meteor. Birds scatter. A paladin drops a shield somewhere in the distance.

Deyn flinches like his demons have finally come for a reckoning.

He turns, sees Midnattsol, and immediately forgets how to stand. Full shrimp moment. Shoulders up, arms weird, blink twice if you’re flatlining.
