@umbriarcht asked : “ they are afraid of me more than of the Noxians . it's the last thing i've wanted to achive . ”
𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐒, a cacophony of rumbling thunder in his throat. it is, in a sense, an adorable predicament ― that this child of shadow, so arrogant to think he can wield GODHOOD in his hands like his farmer’s tool, would think the key to ruling his people is love. that benevolence and kindness would grant him power in this world of predators and prey, the weak and the strong.
( it almost reminds you of him. but you cannot bear even to think the liar’s name. )
❝ then you are a fool. their fear is the key to your survival. ❞ fanged lips curl in something reminiscent of a grin; but it is wild, and unsettlingly inhuman. an icy claw comes forward, tapping the new god ‘pon the chest. ❝ with fear, comes adoration and remembrance. they will cower in the wake of your power, as they should - but the warm-bloods are predictable. they are equally awed by all that terrifies them, and they will call on you to fight that which they cannot. ❞
the volibear snorts, his frosted breath pluming around him like fog. ❝ cut down these noxians. bathe in their blood, eat their hearts, and let your people see. they will worship your darkness as much as they fear it, and you will live forever, little shadow. ❞
@umbriarcht meets Yuumi!
The rain splattered against the ground, any rivets in the earth and filled with water and forced to run like a stream that would be forgotten and dried by the time the sun next reared its head.
“Book? Book, this isn’t funny anymore!” Yuumi cried out, “I’m cold! I’m... I’m so cold...” She whined out; But again, there was no one. No one was listening, and no one would find her, Mama wouldn’t save her from freezing like before.
Would she get so cold, like how when she turned from grey to blue, she would further turn white?
Oh... Oh, a person! She smiled, hoping she could hide under their clothes, to dry and to stay warm, but as she approached... it was little more than a shrine, “Hello?” She asked, looking around in desperation.
But, once again, Yuumi was alone.
There was no one looking for her, and only the thunder that crackled overhead accompanied her, she so wet and sopping that she could not even raise her fur in fear...
Slowly, she walked towards the shrine, staring up at it. She- she didn’t really know anything about these sorts of things. Book would, but... Book wasn’t around...
Book had been gone so much now... it was so lonely...
Yuumi wiped at her eye, sniffling from both the want to cry and the cold that was seeping into her fur, and lifted her head just a little, and... oh... there was a sort of dry spot, a spot where she could be shielded ever so slightly from the rain and thunder, pressing her paw right atop the dry spot, her fur dripping onto the ground...
Sigh.
She walked in a few small circles as the spot below her was wetted by her own soaking fur, and then sat down, resting her tail over her face-- it would warm her face, if only minutely, when she gave it time.
All Yuumi could do was wait for the storm to pass, or wait for someone to take her out of the cold. But- She didn’t see anyone.
So she’d just wait.
