Well, she had to finish her gym challenge in this region eventually. The line outside the gym was filled with nervous trainers, some shaking, some with hope gleaming in their eyes- and then there was Bernkastel. Impatiently tapping her foot on the ground. She had half a mind to call Riglos down to blast the door to smithereens. Keeping her waiting here like this was the height of rudeness.

He was probably in there making out with some girl, anyway.

"It's been half an hour since opening time!" she yelled at nobody in particular.

Of all the things she was expected to do, challenging the Elite Four was not one of them. There was something called a 'low profile' that it seems some people did not fully comprehend. How was she supposed to complete the dex among other things if the association got wind of her? Still, Professor Deglupta had sent her off with a cold smile and a "I have faith in you, my miko," right before she shut and locked the door. Unbelievable. 

Luckily, she did have the badges from this region, so that took care of that. She stomped up to the gates, flashed her badges, and pushed past the guards. Yes, she could listen to the whole "You are worthy" spiel but blah, blah, blah.

Bernard: i wonder who else would be in the E4 Ellie: hmmmm well lets see… i would imagine there would be a league for the angels and a league for the demons so maybe the early two are gertrude/cornelia someone as the third Bernard: seeing zepar/furfur for the demons Ellie: and suddenly a 5 level spike when facing dlanor Bernard: oh come on ten level spike this is dlanor after all Ellie: Twins Zepar and Furfur would like to battle! on the first run? Bernard: ten to ensure the defeat of witches who don't ridiculously overlevel their pokemon Ellie: fine Ellie: watch champion will have like Bernard: 20 Ellie: i was gonna say that like 5/6 pokemon are underleveled then he pulls out a lvl 100 assumably after you insult THE HEART Bernard: it's diana the purugly Ellie: BEAUTIFUL diana knows outrage nobody knows how Bernard: with shadowball/hypnosis/dream eater/something else Ellie: WILL. Bernard: "No wonder the League Association wishes for me to replace YOU." Ellie: you mean besides the fact that he periodically nopes the fuck out

Umimon Team

Richebourg-Espeon

From afar, nobody is sure how Bernkastel managed to get her Eevee at max happiness to evolve in the first place, but that answer is soon revealed by how tricky she is. As a very bright Pokemon with the inherent ability to both predict the future and read its opponents moves/thoughts, Richebourg is her team strategist. She also has quite the nasty personality, and enjoys fooling her opponents with her Reflect/Light Screen combination. 

Richebourg was Bern’s original Pokemon, and it is the most loyal out of all of Bern’s team. Is said to be the personification of one of the Overlord Cats.

Valandraud- Hydreigon

Bernkastel’s Hydra in Pokemon form, who became even more violent, believe it or not. While Valandraud misses its five lost heads, it is content working with three, and uses its massive power to easily demolish anything in its path. He's a scary one, for sure, which is why Bernkastel dotes on him so much. 

Latour- Liepard

As the hardest working of Bernkastel’s army of kitties, Latour was chosen to take this form to help her master in her journey. While she isn't necessarily perfected in battle, her lithe form allows her to infiltrate places with ease, and elegantly pass off any suspicion. 

She wants to be used in battle a bit more, but sadly, can't devour Bernkastel's enemies whole like she could in her real form. Pity.

Petrus- Wailord

The Leviathan, although he has expressed disappointment about no longer being green.

Due to Bernkastel no longer being able to float in being trapped in her Piece form, she relies heavily on Petrus to surf her from place to place, and when irritable Teams raise their head, demolish whole buildings. Nothing says intimidation like a tiny girl riding in on a giant whale.

Mondotte- Serperior

As one of the Mystery Snakes, Mondotte holds her poise and is a rather enigmatic Pokemon. She rather enjoys setting traps on the field and watching her opponents fall into them because you know what they say, cutthroat mysteries are always out to get you.

When she's not fighting, she is very good at finding berries so Bernkastel can sun-dry them and make them into tea, or blend them into juice. 

Pegau- Aerodactyl

Bernkastel didn't bring this with her, but managed to catch this one herself. She found an Old Amber in a mining cave (see: tripped over it by accident), and managed to resurrect it. He took to her instantly, and views her as his mother. She has mixed feelings about that. 

Pegau's Mega Form is quick and destroys things with ease, so she likes to let him loose on people that annoy her. 

Riglos- Yveltal

A Pokemon that swore its loyalty to her, although it is technically not part of her team. She found and caught it while on her mission from Professor Deglupta, but released it soon afterwards. While it remains free, it seems to have taken a liking to her and follows her around, sometimes offering its aid. 

She expects nothing from it and it expects nothing from her, but they do enjoy each other's company.

((man this and the other pretty much have Bern covered XD Though maybe I’d want Absol in there as a ‘dark feline-type’))

[Yeah, I was always torn between Absol and Purrloin in terms of the dark feline type. Maybe she has both but switches them out depending on the day. 

I think she uses the Absol when she wants to kick major ass, because Absol+ Razor Wind=Death.]
