i feel this. me and my friends had a campaign going but then they went to grad school. was fun while it lasted.
The only time I ever played was when we had ‘indoor recess’ in 5th grade, we used to have a small group of ten year olds who were overwhelmed and didn’t have the patience/understanding for actual campaigns.

This funny little guy was found in the files of the game. Aren’t they cute? Their name roughly translates to Water Koopa, so I imagine they might have crawled around underwater.
The one on the left is their normal appearance, while the one on the right is how they’d be colored if they got mad (I think. TCRF doesn’t elaborate much). There’s an animation for them getting hit by a spin attack, too. Poor guy.
I really wish they had made it in, but realistically I wonder what galaxy they would have fit in. Maybe Deep Dark? Hmm...
Anyways, These guys are really cute, but now I’m wondering what they might look like without a...
