(Video game ask meme) Okami~
Send me the name of a video game and I'll reply with my character's reaction while playing it.
“Okami, huh?” Maxie said to himself as he flipped through the manual. He hadn’t even heard of this game, but according to the grunt who had insisted he play it, it was a bit on the obscure side. Maxie had nearly dismissed it (he didn’t have time to be playing video games, of all things), but he’d found it hard to resist when he heard that the game was heavily based on ancient Johtoan mythology.
“Well, let’s see what he was raving on and on about...” Maxie popped the disc in and waited for it to load.
As soon as he saw the long introduction cutscene and played through the opening tutorial (taking him all the way into the first village) he knew he was in for the long haul. The story had already taken him in, though, and he found the unusual graphics highly appealing.
Not to mention, playing as a white wolf goddess was pretty awesome.
The next time he looked at the clock, it was going on two in the morning and he was already as far as Taka Pass. And he had a meeting in five hours.
‘Well, it looks like he won’t be getting his game back any time soon.’ Maxie thought as he forced himself to save and turn it off. Now he wanted to see how this all ended.
