Ugh, I’m so fucking done. I’ve been trying to get ahold of this non-profit for over month and it is the most frustrating thing. I was finally able to set up a phone meeting today and they were suppose to call me at 14:30. It’s 15:00 and she hasn’t responded to any of my e-mails asking if they phone meeting is still on. gdi, I just want to volunteer with them so I can get my service learning hours done.

End of Class and Beginning of ISP

Hey y’all, today marks the first day of my Independent Student Project, also known as my month long research. I am filled with feelings of excitement and fear, for this is one of the biggest projects I’ve ever taken on. I’ll be interviewing professionals, analyzing literature, and including a creative element of embroidery as reflective art. Yesterday was our last day of class and it still feels like I should be biking 30 minutes to get to the SIT office today. I’ve had some amazing times at the office, learning more about sexuality and gender, as well as, learning more about myself. I hope this upcoming month goes smoothly and everything falls into place. Wish me luck!

So tonight I made tacos for my host mate, Joost. Y’all, I am so full and happy, it reminds me of home and our taco nights.
