UNA pass launched - hopes to combat touting and more
Interesting news has been released today with the launch of the UNA pass - especially given recent debates about secondary ticketing and touting.
What the pass hopes to combat are as follows:
No booking fees – There is a one-off fee of £5.99 for the Pass, which is valid for 3 years.
• Impossible to counterfeit
Age Verification – Customers can opt to add legally approved age verification to their Pass for £3.00.
Secure Secondary Marketplace on the Una website – you can only resell tickets for face-value or less
Add yourself to a Reserve List - makes it easier to purchase high demand tickets if you miss out first time around
No more frustrations for Glastonbury/Kate Bush style lotteries for tickets. Una’s highly scalable, cloud-based system can handle the traffic even the largest events generate. Una works on a first-come, first-serve basis, eliminating online queue systems.
Cashless Payments on site
Working with Attitude Is Everything to make Una the most accessible ticketsystem for disabled customers.
Works seamlessly with events of any size and complexity.
Now to await which festival will be the first to announce their endorsement this summer - with the recent news of Download being the first major to go cashless could we see them adapting this system as well, along with many others working with Attitude Is Everything over the years.
