I had a lot of ideas for Una Verse! Her name is meant to sound like “universe”, she has clear legs filled with water (her doll gimmick), and she can float. I thought maybe she really likes water because it reminds her of floating and being in space. So I took some inspiration from wetsuits for her outfit and added some space flare. Drawing her see-through legs and hands (and also having her hold a see-through cup. Didn’t think that one through.) was pretty time-consuming but eventually I got it to a point I felt satisfied.

Ob-SESSED with my novi stars doll that I got 😭 Found her (and a Starcatcher II!) in a goodwill bin for 3 dollars and got around to cleaning her up! She’s missing her arms :( But I’m too poor to afford replacements right now. So in the meantime I am keepin an eye out for any fitting doll arms this girly can have. She’s gorgeous anyways

Before pic when I found her:

Look at that messy hair! Luckily having 200 pony dolls prepared me for how to deal with doll hair tangles, and it cleaned up rather nicely! There were weird plasticy bits stuck in it but other than that her hair wasn’t too difficult to work with

Once it was combed through I decided “I wanna give her really cute really messy curls 🥰” so I set her up with 4 straw curlers and one giant curler for the night

You guys won’t believe the luck I had today.

Woke up. My mom went to the Goodwill Bins Without Me and she goes “They had some ponies but I didnt get them” and then shows me this picture:

I cannot beleive it. I go “Mom 😭 That’s a kinda rare version of Starcatcher. She’s my second favorite g3 pony and I’ve wanted her a long time”

So my mom says “Go right now to the Goodwill bins and see if she’s still there”, telling me which bin she was in. At this point it’s been over an hour since she came back from Goodwill so I highly doubt she’s still there (they change those bins every 30 minutes)

I get there. Find the bin and start digging around. Spot some of the other objects she said would be in the bin. My heart quickens. Could she still be there?

Then i gasp and pull out THIS:

HELLO? A NOVI STARS? I’ve never seen one in real life before I was in utter shock! She’s unfortunately missing her arms but I fancy myself a pony doll restorationist. If I can fix missing pony limbs, maybe I can fix missing normal doll limbs too.Oh yeah, I DID find Starcatcher :) And a few other small things. For only 3 dollars I feel like I made a steal.

If anyone has advice on fixing my Novi Stars doll PLEASE let me know (my only doll experience is with ponies so I haven’t restored humanoid dolls before ^^”)
