How loosely or strictly do they use the word ‘friend’?

Phoebe uses the word friend very loosely, but only with entirely selfish intentions. She has learned how to gain people's trust, turning on the charm that makes people feel safe around her. They feel safe with her, more willing they are to let secrets slip.

She will make "friends" as an alibi, or use someone to get close to a target. She keeps drinking buddies at different taverns, mostly to stave off the appearance of being a "suspicious character" that would draw attention from locals. Are any of them real friends? Never. They may believe it but she will never let any of them see who she really is. Her faith in anyone knowing beyond the surface character she plays has been burned to the ground. She knows the only person she can ever trust is herself only.

Now, it's not impossible to be her friend... just very nearly. It would take something absolutely impressive to even start to gain her trust. Until that happens though, she will keep up her defenses so that no one can have an advantage over her.

The Protective One (AKA - the Mom Friend)

It does not require much for you to take someone under your wing. You have a knack for seeing the best in others and rooting for them, and they look up to you in turn. They feel that you are safe to go to in times of chaos or strife, and are calmed by your presence. You take extra measures to make sure everyone feels supported. Things that others might not even consider, you have already likely accounted for. In most scenarios, you are "the leader." Your struggles tend to come from your desire to provide things to others. You want to give, to see those you love happy, to make wherever you are a place of comfort. Your failures hit you hard because you see this as your responsibility, and you hate to let people down. Okay, yes, there's no avoiding it: this is the parent friend.

🌇 Where are 3 places your character enjoys hanging out?

“Well.. I have to say the caravan. It’d be a shame to be living in it for all these years if I didn’t enjoy it.” Zeehva giggled. 

“Theres a little spot in Pandaria I like to go when I need to think. Its a small clearing about half way up one of their mountain sides. A river runs by it, and there are some perfectly sized trees that I like to hook my hammock up to. Its like my own slice of peace and serenity.” A smile graced her lips before her eyebrows knitted together as she tried to think of the third place she enjoyed to hang out. 

“Gadgetzan believe it or not. Daddy always said thats where he met my mom. If you can even call her that.” She huffed a bit. “Guess I just hope one day I’ll see her there. Maybe then I can ask her why she abandoned my dad and me.” A soft shrug was offered as she rubbed at her palm. “It was his favorite place though, even with the heart ache it brought. So I always enjoy visiting, especially when I miss him.”

"My favorite animals are starfish, sea turtles, sea horses, and jellyfish...but if I could only choose one? I'd say jellyfish because they seem to me to be of the lowest maintenance in that list. In addition, they are simply astounding creatures to me with how they can simply exist in their given physiology. They're beautiful to look at and are simply mesmerizing to watch. I find immediate peace just by looking at them and we can learn so much from them...even if the takeaway message is to just 'roll with the tides' as it seems to be the mantra they survive by. Both beautiful and deadly, their 'simple' existence astounds and inspires me. For as many stings that I've treated over the years living in a coastal community, you can't help but be in awe at a how such a tiny boneless creature can inflict so much agony. I have some extreme respect for these creatures."

❀ What has made you completely lose your chill?

Emotional. Manipulation. When someone treats me in such a way that I have to show logs to friends that I trust and ask for a sanity check. Nine times out of ten it turns out to be abuse or manipulation of some sort, and that’s the end of that. Aside from that, I’m a pretty chill person.

015. Are they most likely to fight with their fists or their tongue?

Thank you for the ask!

It depends on the situation, but mostly, the answer is probably Fists. Kestrel is not afraid to get into an argument, but she is more than comfortable resorting to violence if necessary. There’s something a punch to the face can tell someone that words can’t quite get across in the same way.

It is largely a product of the brutal environment she grew up in. She has somewhat distanced herself from that sort of life lately, though it usually seems to catch up to her sooner or later anyway.

◑ What is a side to your muse you want to show off, but haven’t had the chance to yet?

I answered this in my head, then didn’t....post...

ANYWAY.

I am kind of dipping my toes into it in recent stories and RP, but Eleeria is actually a pretty reserved person when it comes to sharing her actual thoughts. She has a lot of walls she’s built up in order to keep herself in check that are slowly coming down. One day I would love to show off an Eleeria who does not have the same self-imposed restrictions. Where she makes choices and knows they are the best ones, even if they are not necessarily the ones a lawful good person would make.
