As someone who grew up with pixels I still haven’t got to the point where I’m not amazed at beautiful 3D environments. I literally spent the first 30 minutes of Kassandra’s story with splashing around in the water, running after goats and sneaking around in the undergrowth.
Ubisoft E3 2017 Report Card
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Okay this looks kinda fun. The Rabbids have always been pretty damn crazy, and now seeing them take on Super Mario Brothers. This looks like it’s going to be crazy.
Assassin’s Creed Origins: Well I’m glad to see Assassin’s Creed return, but while Egypt sure does look pretty and may have an interesting story line, I would have liked to have seen ether The American West or Feudal Japan as a setting. It still looks good, but It’s not really where I wanted the game to go next.
The Crew 2: Again, not really a Racing fan, but if they can make the game look interesting then I might give it a look. This kinda looks like GTA based more around vehicle collection and racing.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole: YAY SOUTH PARK! If they can make it as entertaining and Fun as the Stick of Truth then I’ll be really happy.
Transference: Looks like a nice... creepy VR game. Can;t wait to find out more.
Skull & Bones: It might not be Assassin’s Creed, BUT DAMN I am up for another Pirate Game set within that era, even if it is just a Carbon Copy of AC: Black Flag.
Just Dance 2018: MEH! And I do mean a very grumpy who the hell cares MEH!
South Park: Phone Destroyer: I’ve seen a lot of phone games. Very few keep me invested in them... so of course they had to do one with south park... damn you Ubisoft... shut up and take my money!
Starlink: Battle for Atlas: Okay, while the Starfighter Dogfight concept looks FREAKING AWESOME! It’s just a game designed to sell toys, kinda like Skylanders/Disney Infinity (RIP)/ and Lego Dimentions. Oh well, at least it’s something new.
Steep: Road to the Olympics: Saw this game last year. Like the crew this is one of those games that is an exception to the rule. I hate sports games, but I want to play Steep. I don’t however care too much for this expansion.
Farcry 5: Wolfinstine, but with In bread Conservative White Supremacists as the bad guys *cocks his gun*, let’s go shoot some Clansmen.
Beyond Good and Evil 2: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT LOOKS AWESOME! Weren't they planning this game for like.. 10 years? Still, it does look pretty ddamn fun, I might have to go and check this out.
Overall Score: A FUCKIN PLUS: Damn... just... DAMN they did good this year.
