Another day, another poor soul about to die by her hand.
In between tournaments, the eldest of the Williams sisters’ days were usually fairly the same. One mission after the next, anything to keep her moving and as far away from any possible tracking foes as possible. She was swift, hardly ever picky with her victims. Didn’t care about the story behind her being hired, all her heart was normally set on was the cash payment when she was done. A little brief happiness in her otherwise morbid life.
Only this new target of hers had her returning to one of her favorite hole-in-the-wall bars. A fellow tournament fighter, a fellow usual of quite a few years now ; Bryan Fury. Now that complicated things... Nina had learned the hard way not to take such special missions lightly. Almost everyone at those pathetic matches has a twisted story to tell, and simply based on what she’s observed, Bryan definitely had a tale or two.
Makes for a difficult target, one that wouldn’t go down without possibly multiple fights or drastic measures. Great... Just terrific.
Maybe that’s why Nina was here, sitting at the counter with a glass of her favorite scotch. Scrolling through the pages of information her employer had sent her on her phone, while subtly keeping an eye on the other bar patrons in case the black cocktail dress she was wearing attracted any unneeded attention.
Apparently her employer had hired someone else to take out the cyborg-esc man prior to hiring her. Their pathetic attempts allowed him to escape and live another day... What a surprise.
With a sigh, the blonde ponytailed woman set her phone on the counter and reached for her drink instead. It was more than clear, if she wanted to emerge victorious from this mission, she’d need to learn what made that hunk of half metal tick. The question was, how the hell was she going to do that? Last she checked the old guy who created him was dead, leaving only the brute himself to know what went on under that human like façade. And like her, he didn’t usually seem keen on entertaining the idea of a companion at the tournaments...
This definitely wouldn’t be easy, would it? Anything relating to these tournaments never could be..
