Not that he doesn’t appreciate Kirumi’s cooking. Frankly, next to his grandmother’s, all of Kirumi’s cooking is the best thing Kaito’s ever eaten. And it’s not exactly like he enjoys agreeing with Kokichi, of all people. That little troublemaker...Kaito didn’t trust him as far as he could throw him - which, likely? Would be pretty far.

Still. For once...he makes a compelling point.

me:  wow i should have a serious headcanon abt why ‘una’ goes by ‘number one’ also me, talking to @lifedeathpeacewar:  once christopher pike told everyone that ‘number one’ is her given name and even though it’s technically accurate,  she’s so stubborn that she just runs with it bc she doesn’t wanna give him the satisfaction of making it a joke,  and he’s literally the only person allowed to call her ‘una’ after that,  it’s canon now
