When he heard that there was someone or something hunting down criminals in his territory, the last thing Jason expected was to find a giant murderous-looking wolf. Which, okay, wasn't the weirdest thing he'd encountered recently but he wasn't entirely certain how he was supposed to proceed here. On one hand, the wolf? was doing him a favour in cleaning up some of the trash around here. On the other hand, Jason feared that the Bats wouldn't be of the same opinion and would try to relocate it to somewhere far away from the city.

"Hey uh-" Okay, the creature was obviously intelligent, given that it had only hunted bad guys so far, which meant the chance that it understood human speech wasn't that low. Right?

"How's it going?"

The large wolf god circles around before settling down beside her. "Your presence in my hunting grounds is a welcome one," he rumbles out, fangs glinting and tail swishing. "Tell me, what would it take for you to stay by my side?"

{ ⟡ } — Delicate features raise with a display of pure interest as the youngest & yet oldest of the Witch Coven steps among the foliage & florae without fear of being hurt at all, & in fact, finds dulcet solace in the presence of the Wolf God. Few souls take her into consideration & acknowledge her beyond a couple of names, after all, she’s the only one the Black Crane decided to allow to return & breath the sweetened perfume of withering flowers. Solitude was an ever-present punishment & also a quiet friend that allowed her time to dedicate to her own abilities, but such advantage would always come with the price of everlasting longing.

🙶Great Wolf.🙷 Her voice is soft-spoken, almost carrying tones of endearment while surprise paints her expression with usually unseen colors. It’s so uncommon to see her serenity breaking. When his question caresses her ears, it’s difficult to allow herself a reply. What could even her, a foreign servant, ask from a God that was not hers to begin with? Even if the Black Crane has been quietly sending her with gifts for him, sacrifices & tributes, it was an alliance Emilia couldn’t help but wonder if it may extend to her too.

It’s inevitable, however, that a simper breaks more into the facades & her steps dare to go just a little further -— closer, to the glinting fangs & the greatest dangers made flesh & fur…

🙶My Lord, there are few things that I would have the right to ask you for, I’m nothing but a humble servant among many more.🙷 Kneeling on his presence in a display of devotion her own God has come to accept, feels naturally as even her wings —ever folded as to appear like an elegant & feathery cape—, gently move ever so slightly until descending & touching the ground in a respectful act. She’s leaving the ideals of pride among the branches & leaves behind her, relishing in the chances to speak to someone else…

🙶When I was brought down the earth by the Elderwood, my slumber cost me precious times… only to be brought back as one. Reborn into this world with no former sister nor guide beyond the voice on my dreams…🙷 She glances up at his figure, & yet it didn’t cast any frightening emotion to her mind. It was oddly comforting.

🙶Maybe this is why the Black Crane has constantly guided me towards you, to feel power anew & to not wander alone across the endless night, after losing my endeared ones…Some say wolves are better hunting when doing so with their pack, so I would only plead for your Company & Acceptance among those grounds, where the Moon seems to shine brighter & my own spirit feels oddly at Home after such a long time ago…🙷 There was a glow of hope in her golden irises,
