Neither Human nor Wolf
Thinking about Wild Rescuers Stacy being...different to other humans. Something has changed her, took the things about her that were too human to fit and decided to accommodate for them. Whether its the will of the forest, whatever force created the wolves (which are definitely magic), the aurora on that night after Amethyst died (when his spirit was still close, watching over his children), destiny, or something else...something is watching over Stacy.
And it has decided to change her.
Her teeth and nails are too sharp. Her hearing and smell are too good. The darkness doesn't bother her the same way it does others. (And sometimes her eyes glow when the light cuts through it to hit them.) She has a little too much body hair, and her hair is a bit too thick.
Stacy does realize that she's not quite like other humans, but it doesn't bother her. As far as she knows, this is just...a thing about her. She's like the wolves, and the wolves raised her. That's not that strange, is it? Look I think there's a lot of room in Wild Rescuers for uncanny magic. Not in a horror movie, creepy thing in the woods that wants to eat your soul way. But nature simply changes things. Sometimes in ways that are a little strange.
