With this last issue of Uncanny X-Men right here, we wrap up both the Genosha storyline from the last 3 issues, as well as the Uncanny X-Men portion of the Inferno Prologue I’m reading (there’s only a few more issues of New Mutants left to read before I’ll be completely done with the omnibus and moving on to Inferno). This was a good little story, and a good origin to Genosha Island, explaining how and why it is so violently tied the state of mutant-kind. It’s interesting to see how the country started out as an anti-mutant, Nazi-like state, even though it will soon become a home for mutant refugees fleeing from the rest of the world.
