"Our cockpit is too close to the front. When you're driving, you feel like you're sitting on the front wheels, which is one of the worst feelings to feel when you're driving a car," [Hamilton] said. "What that does is it just really changes the attitude of the car and how you perceive its movement. It makes it harder to predict compared to when you're further back and you're sitting closer, more centre. It's just something I really struggle with. "I listened to the team and that was the direction that they said that we should go. Had I known the feeling that I would have in it, it wouldn't have happened. It has to change for the future. 100%." - April 2023
The Waiting - Tilted by diana-hnd
"The Waiting" painting series Waiting is a constant in our lives, but it need not be a waste of time. These black-and-white paintings are the results of those waitings, created in the space of patience. ------------------------------------ When I do these paintings, they tend to be focused on symmetry or on the centre. For once, I wanted to do something that was a little askew. The result is what you see now. If it had been straight up instead of tilted, I don't think the result would have looked just as nice. It goes to show that not everything has to be right side up. A little tilt is what you need for things to look good-o! ------------------------------------ On that note, this painting (both negative and positive versions) is available for sale on my new Red Bubble shop! You can view them here: www.redbubble.com/people/diana… For this painting, I would recommend the Spiral Notebooks/Hardcover Journals, it looks much nicer on them.
The unknown is uncentered. (Note how the word “the” is an entire letter’s width too far to the right.) From The Unknown by Francis Lathom, 1826.
When we're confused and uncentered, we project inner conflicts into the world around us. When we're at peace with ourselves, we can see more clearly, act more effectively.
The Tao of Inner Peace by Diane Dreher
I hate how it's like another task to be healthy. I have to put a certain amount of time and energy into that and my life isn't balanced enough for me to find that time. I keep thinking I'm going to do all these things and I'm not.
Time to get goin.
