I heard for uncharted they got Tom because they were going for a young drake before the games started🤷🏽‍♀️, but honestly who knows and I agree, they easily could have gone with someone else who's older looking at least.

Most of the money made will probs come from fans of the game, like mortal kombat.

Oh, was that what they were going for? They still missed the mark. 🤣 In my opinion, he doesn't look like the character at all but could be his future son saying he looks like his mother but inherited dad's sense of adventure and danger. They should have gone that route if they wanted him that bad.

There is a whole petition going on to get that guy who played in that tv show Castle a while back. They say he looks more like him than Tom.

I'll watch it because I enjoy action-adventure movies/shows and. Also, since they got Tom I'm sure the budget was astronomical, so 🤞🏽 they went big on stunts and explosions and all that good stuff.

I’m sorry but I own the uncharted video games….this was all based on $$$. They could’ve found a known or unknown actor to really bring the series to life. I’m mad. Maybe if Tom was years older and …..nope! Definitely glad it wasn’t Marky Mark matter of fact why is he even there, ugh Hollywood consistently fucking things up. This movie could’ve had potential. You know how we go Blockbusters in the past….no one knew they would be Blockbusters, people just made great movies and the audience loved them. Now they are trying to force shit based on who is popular and throw money at it assuming the general public will eat it up. I’m tired of this mess.

An unknown actor could have been a good option but you're right their bank ability would be too low. They needed to bring people in.

I for one think Jai Courtney could have done it justice maybe also that Eastwood kid (don't remember their name) or here is a crazy idea a black actor since Nathan being white has no real cultural footing/purpose 🤪.

But whatever it's just Hollywood doing what it does best. 😶
