A conviction, on my record, is nomore then a piece of paper stating I’ve done time in the system. I refuse to maintain that mentality, because the ones that think that way, that’s as far as they wanna go. Some people won’t go any further then what they call themselves. “Imma convict until the day I die” So, I mean, if you think that way, you gon become a convict till the day you die, because you gon do anything/anywhere possible, to take you right back to that institution. I don’t think that way, I won’t born a convict, I just have a conviction on my record, but that don’t mean anything to me, see cause don’t nobody determines my destination/my future but me.
