Commiseration Tuesday (//Grateful Thursday)
With AO3 temporarily down, lots of us are sad at not being able to read when we wanted to! With that in mind, I’m taking the opportunity to invite you guys to share a little something from a WIP to keep us going through the downtime! Preferably something we haven’t shared before, but whatever works for you!
Tagged by the lovely @hangmanbradshaw.
(Love you Sweet Steph, thanks for tagging me!❤️).
We got AO3 back now (FOREHEAD KISSES AND APPLAUSE FOR AO3 VOLUNTEERS FOR DEALING WITH THE SITUATION!!!!!)
So, I'll share a bit of what I plan to finish next.
Part II of Jake "Mortification Looks Good on Me" Seresin - Next victim = Slider.
Ron Slider Kerner was en route to the beach-side cottage of one Bradley Bradshaw, aka his nephew, or “Roostache”, as he liked to call him affectionately since he’d been given his callsign.
See when the “Maverick pulling Bradley’s papers” debacle happened with Ice’s silent support, as he did nothing to reverse what had been done even though Ice would have preferred the two men had a face-to-face conversation instead, the married couple didn’t expect they would only talk to their Baby Goose until years later.
Slider could punch them all in the face, because they spent years apart, but it only took them one hour to make amends, Bradley and Maverick being stuck in the infirmary forced to talk, with Ice, ever the guardian angel, at their side.
They could have pulled their shit together so much sooner, grumped Slider as he approached Bradley’s house, Damned the combined force of a Mitchell and a Bradshaw’s stubbornness!
The Gosling Heir & The Hangman Vigilante (AKA - Modern-Day Zorro) (Ficlet)
Nick and Carole Bradshaw were the successful owners of the Gosling Empire, the most prolific farming business from California. They led with intelligence and kindness, also never hesitated to pitch in.
The Bradshaw man started small with a large goose farm, but it expanded so quickly it pratically became later a mini-State within Cali. They asked their closest friends Pete Mitchell and Tom Kazansky to come work with them. And they all lived together on the Big Bradshaw Ranch.
Then Bradley Bradshaw was born. Their son loved the geese so much, the parents always gifted goslings to him, and it became a fixture in their home, and what gave the name to the Bradshaw Empire.
Tagging anyone who would like to share a little bit of their WIP.
