Uncle Tetsu’s (Royal Hawaiian)

Short post! It got pretty hot and humid during the time that I spent in Honolulu, so we often found ourselves needing to take a mid-day coffee break at the Royal Hawaiian Center’s food court. I noticed that they had a Uncle Tetsu’s there as well, and they had quite a selection of drinks to choose from...they also gave us some free samples of their cheesecake lol.

Shown here are some samples of their cheesecake. It reminded me of a creamy angel food cake. I found it funny how people are willing to line up for hours back home for it, yet this stand was one of the quietest in the mall lol. It was okay, though nothing to write home about.

I ordered a Taro Freeze (5.25) to quench my thirst. It was very tasty! It was quite thick and wasn’t overly sweet. 

Good:

-They actually had quite a selection of cold blended drinks to choose from here

-They had a decent selection of cheesecakes too, but it didn’t seem like anybody was buying them

Bad:

-Pretty pricey

Closing Comments: I wonder if the one in Metrotown has better cheesecake than the one here.
