Switching up the prompt, I used this reaction prompt to write some reactions for Servamp. Really, these characters are so dynamic that these were probably the easiest reactions I wrote! I let the wheel choose five characters for me to continue the angst train on and hope you guys will enjoy!
The character puts a gun to your head while you’re facing a different direction. What’s the last thing they say to you before pulling the trigger?
Shamrock
To give this situation context, I feel like the only way this comes about is either because Tsubaki ordered you killed or Shamrock believes that you, in some way, betrayed him. He’s very sensitive, because of the events with C3 in his past, to anything he portrays as betrayal, and it does make him murderous. I feel like, whether it was an order from his ‘young master’ or whether it was him getting revenge for a perceived betrayal of him, Shamrock wouldn’t speak. It’s been shown canonically that he actually remembers murdering a former friend of his with some amount of glee and happiness, showing some seriously disturbing mental tendencies and I feel he’d approach the situation with the same glee and happiness. Instead of hearing any words from him in those last moments, I think you’d hear his laughter, beginning soft and growing louder and more insane.
Tooru
Tooru’s doing everything he can to not pull the trigger, actually. If there is any way, any way at all, that he doesn’t have to pull that trigger, he’s trying it. If the situation came about because you turned on C3 or on him and you were openly a threat to both him and others, he’s still trying to capture you alive. He has no problem using other people in that case to help him and it would still likely be someone else to kill you. If the situation came about because he received orders to kill you, but he doesn’t honestly think you’re a threat, I feel like the words you would hear are… ‘do you trust me?’ Because he’ll have a plan to make it so that you ‘disappear’, a plan to make it look like the order was followed while getting you to safety, but only if you are genuinely not a current threat and promise to remain that way. Simply put, killing you would be something he would regret, and he doesn’t do regrets.
Higan
This situation would only come about if you turned on Tsubaki or if Tsubaki ordered Higan to eliminate you. It would be one of the few times he didn’t relish a fight or a chance to kill, honestly. He doesn’t want to do it; it brings him no joy. But he takes his orders seriously and his loyalty to Tsubaki is unmatched so do it he will. I feel like you loved the haiku’s he was always spouting, and it was something he really loved about you. He’d spend the previous hours, maybe days, making sure he had the perfect haiku, written just for you, and it would be the last thing he says to you before pulling the trigger, something beautiful to send you to the afterworld with.
Touma
Touma has to have a reason to kill you, but the reason could have been small. If he felt that you were going to stand in his way, if you were a hindrance to his plans, if he felt you were a distraction to Tsurugi or any of his other pawns…anything along those lines. No matter how fond of you he might have gotten, he can separate himself from his personal feelings enough to carry through with your murder…but somehow, I can’t help but think that his last words to you… ‘thank you’.
JeJe
This situation would be absolute last resort and done only on the order of Mikuni or because you were looking to attack or kill Mikuni. JeJe doesn’t form bonds easily and it would be incredibly hard on him if you and him were at all close before that point, which I see being the case in this scenario. He cared about you, something he doesn’t do for many people, and he’ll show you kindness to the very end. You never see it coming, there’s no sound, no words from him…it’s over in less than a second, clean and quick, done so that you felt nothing. He would do anything to ensure you never had to suffer. While he never says anything out loud, I feel like his last words would be spoken in his head and would be a prayer for your soul to find peace and happiness.
