Flashback to a week ago; I had so much fun that I slept endlessly and didn't get to share this. So, last weekend I had the time of my life. You guys see the story about the old man who lost his wife? Well one day a 4 year old at the grocery store asks to take a picture with him for her birthday and ever since they've been the best of friends. He said he found a new reason to live and that it was to see her grow up. That's me and Ash. I don't know what happened but one day she wanted to sit where I sat. Then she wanted to dance like me and listen to my favorite songs. One day she's picking her own songs and singing Kpop too! Next thing I know she's wearing my shoes and watching tv on my lap. I'm not sure what happened or why I got to be so special. She says she wants to be like me. I just want to see her get big and tall and realize that I was short and small all along. Somewhere between rushing me out the door and swift and sudden "Gave! I love you!" we wound up here, having park adventures, her getting free ice cream and me actually feeling happy for just one day.
