Shot of the legendary @djbattlecat from @rbma’s #UncleJammsArmy reunion in Inglewood. For my West Coast heads, you already know why #Battlecat is a legendary producer and DJ. He started out as part of the California Catt Crew, and eventually produced numerous classic songs for Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Tha Eastsidaz, E-40, Xzibit, Bad Azz, Tyrese and many more (trust me, if you were listening to Power 106 circa 1999 to 2002, chances are you spent a lot of time listening to songs that Battlecat made the beat for).

For those not in the know, not only was DJ Bobcat a member of Uncle Jamm’s Army, the California Catt Crew and also one of the 1580 KDAY Mix Masters, he also produced songs like “I’m Bad” and “I Need Love” for LL Cool J (among numerous others), he helped co-produce the entire Death Certificate album for Ice Cube, and he’s also worked with other artists such as 2Pac, Eazy-E, Mack 10, Nas and many more. Oh, and he’s still one of the most intricate DJ’s you’ll see on the turntables. #RBMALA
