got to spend a lil tome w ma today. had a cheeseburger & fries dinner with her. wished her a #HappyLaborDay #nstuff. she said she wasnt doin too much lately, in fact she said she hadnt done any work at all since she had been hangin out w johnny & elvis. got to share a lil of whats been goin w me lately. i told her how life just seems to be mundane sometimes and how i wished she was here to just give me a hug. told her i had the opportunity to go through a lil spell of depression that was purdy tough to get through, but i managed. i did what she & my recovery taught me to do, put my head down, lift my arms, & give it up to God. can ya believe what she said? she said she knew, that she was standin right beside me, carryin me when it was at its worst, huggin me when i couldnt even think to smile. she told me to always remember that no matter where i went or what i did, she was there. as i wiped away my tears and the rain started i smiled & told her i loved her. she said, as she smiled back, i know boy. now go on before ya catch your death, ya already got a cold, i dont need to be with ya up here any sooner than Gods already got planned. i love ya boy, now go #FollowYourArrow... #GoneButNotForgotten #InTheGarden #UncloudedDay (at Lindenwood Cemetery)

well, ya'll know i went & seen ma for mothers day. it was a beautiful mornin for it too. took her lunch and we sat and ate it talkin bout what all was goin on. i started with this, sittin in the love shack thinkin its a drag. listenin to the committee in my head rap just aint my bag. when the alarm clock ring ya know its my cue, gonna meet the boys cuz i got shit to do. joel dont ya fill me up with your rules, everybody knows that self-pity aint too cool… well ya know ma, she wasnt gunna have that shit! always tryin to share her wisdom & teach me another way to look at the stuff goin on in my life. her answer was on spot as always with, my boy got the action, he got the motion yeah, my boy can play dedication, devotion turnin the night time into the day be-bop-a-lua, boy, what i say he do the song about the sweet lovin woman he do the song about the knife and he do the walk, he do the walk of life yeah, my sweet lovin boy, he do the walk of life... ya just know i had ta go show ma the result of openly receivin a gift offered to me. of course she was there, sittin on the porch stompin her foot & watchin the rock show in her front yard. she said, “i knew it! i knew ya could do it! i been watchin ya boy, youre doin great!, i havent lost the faith that God would walk beside ya providin ya the direction ya need.” we danced a jig to the melody of the sweet music of the wind russlin through the trees and the beautiful sound of birds callin to each other. i told her of my difficulty in stayin motivated in my goals educationally, of the thoughts of wantin to just give up on everything, and how sometimes shit just dont seem to make any sense at all. she calmed me with a stir and a shot of bright warm sun on my face and said, “see there boy, i didnt have ta hug ya and kiss on the cheek just then, but there is purpose in your steps. ya have somethin that ya think others may not want or see, but what i need ya to do, is understand that deep down within yourself, maybe what ya are doin is just what ya need for yourself. there may not be anybody in your life that you want to share your time with right now, but there is comin a time and special person for that.” damn she is so smart and always knows what to say. with a sage wisdom of a voice from heaven, “follow you arrow boy!” #GoneButNotForgotten #LoveYouMa #MissYouMa #AMothersLoveNeverDies #InTheGarden #UncloudedDay #FollowYourArrow (at Lindenwood Cemetery)
