What do you think about Emily as a character?
Honestly, I don't mind her as a character. I like the bossy woman cliche. also I think she is a fun and interesting design to give a bit of variety to the cast.
What I dislike is the fact she was originally used to be the "female representation" and in doing so basically shunted Little Western out of the way.
So... Who is your favourite character?
That is a fun question…
I bet anyone who follows me will think the answer is Duck… sad to say they are not correct.
As much as I love Duck for everything that is that adorable green box, Oliver is actually my favourite character.
Oliver’s stories to me were so fun when I was younger. Even just hearing Oliver’s theme still makes me smile when I hear it. Escape was so incredible, and even though I was scared watching it, I loved Oliver after wards and would always skip the episodes afterwards to get to the next Oliver one (unless there was a Duck episode, then it couldn’t be passed.
Honourable mentions are James (in the books) and Rusty from the narrow gauge engines.
Hope that answered your question :)
Hello everyone, I am Uncoupled Engine.
Welcome to my blog.
About this blog
This is mainly a TTTE blog, but I occasionally dip into Starlight Express. I don't care if they are human or machine. As long as they are the characters I love, then that's okay with me.
I adore the Little Western Engines (especially Duck and Oliver), but have occasionally dabbled with a few other characters.
Yes I am a Multipy Shipper. Variety is the spice of life.

If you are looking for any of my artwork, I usually tag it as #Uncoupled Engine Art. Most of my art is just chill, whatever I feel like doing. I enjoy very chill art, which sometimes takes me a while to do.

I dabble in a bit of writing here and there. You can find me on A03 here

Thank you for coming to say Hello :D
Do you have a fave episode of TTTE?
That is such a hard question to answer. There are so many and depending on the different engine makes a huge difference.
If I had to pick an overall episode I love, then it would have to be Escape! I know, shocker, an Oliver episode. When I was little, I just loved the music and Douglas being such a good engine to help others in need. No,w as I'm older, I guess I love the meaning behind Oliver as a character. Oliver was very much a F*** you to British Rail, and using the little history I know about the railways makes it more powerful.
Honourable mentions (out of 5 trains):
All At Sea 🚂🚂🚂🚂 (I love Duck so much)
Bowled Out 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂 (Peak Stepney)
The Flying Kipper 🚂🚂🚂🚂 (The feels)
Old Iron 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂 (I would give more if I didn't already set a limit of 5)
Duck Takes Charge 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂 (My boi!)
Edward's Exploit 🚂🚂🚂🚂 (Oldie and a goldie)
Rusty to the Rescue 🚂🚂🚂🚂 (They are just so lovable)
I'm sensing a big theme now that I look at my Honourable mentions. I very much like a story where an engine is either proving themselves or just trying to be nice. This is something I can relate to so much in my life.
