for bastard lasagna man i mean Kieran Xillana: 10, 19, 23, 42, 51, aaaannnnnd 65
Lmaooo he deserves the mockery but he’s still very amused
10. how often do they lie? what situations cause them to be dishonest?
He actually doesn’t lie as much as some might assume- he’ll certainly obscure the truth occasionally, like when he’s writing up a contract and puts a little something extra in the fine print, but for the most part he’s honest. He knows it’s bad business to lie to his clients, but might exaggerate sometimes to make a deal seem more favorable. That being said, he WILL lie to the fighters in his arena basically just because, since he is an asshole to them specifically. He also lies about his past, and who was in it.
19. what haunts them? what doesn’t?
He is haunted by his family, and in moments of weakness, by the person he used to be. He’s not haunted by who he is now, or what he’s done to other people. He refuses to let his own actions hold him back.
23. how do they feel about nicknames, titles, or labels that have been given to them? how do they feel about their name?
He wears every name he’s given with pride, the good and the bad. There are people who call him cutthroat, a monster, a devil, a cheat, an entrepreneur, silver tongued, a clever bastard, or a skilled entertainer, and he’ll take every one of those labels with a wink and a smile. Every press is good press when you’re in the gladiatorial profession. That being said, he genuinely likes being given little nicknames by a lover or a friend (when they’re around)- he thinks it’s cute and endearing. He likes his true name though, he knows it’s recognizable and he accepts people’s opinions about him. It’s a family name, and though he’s not close with his family, he still thinks of it highly, and likes it in relation to himself.
42. what are three words they would use to describe themself?
Charming, clever, powerful
51. what is the most beautiful thing in the world, for them?
A beach just after sunset, with roiling storm clouds covering the sky as far as you can see, lightning striking the water and providing the only illumination against the black clouds and blacker ocean. The whistling wind in your hair, and the strikingly cold raindrops that hit you one at a time, long increments between them. Feeling the electricity in the air and seeing it form around you, wild and uncontrollable to all those except you.
65. what is holding them back?
According to him, nothing. He’s exactly where he wants to be in his life right now, and the only place to go is up, which is where he’s headed at record speed. He’s got things under control and he isn’t being held down. According to me, his own unwillingness to trust. He could make it a lot farther in his own personal journey if he could let himself get close enough to someone to make a real friend, but he thinks (knows) that that’ll end in blood, and isn’t willing to risk it.
