Witch Hat Atelier My new anime obsession.

So of course I had to make an oc for it! He needs a name though.

I imagine he's a bit of a recluse, spends most of his time crafting new sigils and making them more an more complex and specialized. It's his hobby. He has half of such a circle on the pads of his middle fingers and thumbs, so that when he puts them together it activates the spell. It's a fairly simple spell, it's a sort of "grab and levitate" which allows him to be lazy about getting up to get stuff.

He's wary of strangers but will do anything for those precious to him.

Reuben is a lot of fun to draw.

His human disguise isn't perfect. It slips a bit every now and then as well. I got the little comic idea watching videos of dogs who try to avoid getting their nails clipped because it's funny and I feel like Jinu definitely would be up to stuff like that with the other demons

Especially Mystery, since the guy is like, half-feral lol. I like the idea that the guy couldn't properly un-demonize his face which is why he wears his hair like he does. I bet Jinu does his hair in the morning I'm also sure he has had to keep Baby from drinking stuff he shouldn't

Also I love the fact that the tigers' name is actually Derpy

Yep I'm hopeless. Swallowed by the hype. Reuben can't get rid of his tail in human form. He usually solves this by wearing a feather boa of matching color around his hips.

It's taken over my TikTok.

I succumbed.

His name is Reuben and he's a sub-species of demon I've had for many many years, he's just the latest. They're plant demons, generally regarded as weak and bully-worthy.

I meant to make a friend for Monne but I ended up making a very irritated physician hellbeast. He uses lesser beasts as spare parts for higher ranking ones, his ability is to morph any bodypart into the same species as whoever he's using it on. He keeps a collection of "donors" in a side room of his practice. They're kept alive until there's pretty much nothing left for him to harvest.

Cordelius is NOT a nice person.

Cord is kind of like a mix of a chameleon, lion fish and eel. I'll have to draw his beast form sometime. I have a very vivid image of it in my head. If I can get it out is another story entirely.

Bernard is from the webtoon Banquet. He's a lot of fun to draw!

Monne means it literally. Since he splits his tail into pieces to form the little spy critters, he can end up with nothing but his tailbone. Not something he enjoys, but the job is the job is the job.

At least the human form doesn't require a tail for balance =u=''

Finally managed to doodle Monne in his hound form, though he's a bit like a mix of a hound, a deer and reptile. He's a v long boi.

He can split his tail into hundreds, if not thousands of little critters he calls 'watchers'. They're semi-sentient and act on their own once given a mission. He can tap into their vision whenever he wants and even communicate telepathically through them with anyone the watcher is looking at.

The watchers don't really have bones, they're kinda like furry water balloons that can contort their shape and squeeze through even the tiniest gaps. They don't feel pain, but Monne feels pain whenever they're destroyed.

He doesn't like deploying too many, because if his tail gets too short it messes with his balance.

I'm a fan of the webtoon Banquet so I drew the character Bernard along with Monne.

Monne seems nervous to meet the king of Hell. Probably thinks he's gonna get eaten.
