It was fortunate that she found the elder vampire in his garden. It likely would have taken her hours to scour the catacombs for him. She tapped his shoulder gently, and offered him a bright smile when he turned. Quickly, she stood on tiptoes and planted a soft, slightly lingering kiss on his lips. When she pulled away, she gave him an apologetic look. "Don't worry, that won't happen often," she assured him, "unless you want it too."
Luther hadn’t really expected anyone to come out into the garden, and surely didn’t expect one of Alastair’s sirelings. He turned around to face her when she tapped his shoulder and uttered a brief greeting:” Good d-” he was cut off when she kissed him.
