Raina stared out of the window in her bedchambers, into the night sky. It was a black velvet canvas glittering with crystal stars. Her pale blue eyes found the moon and held it in her gaze, wishing for peace to come from its gentle glow. She has always had a connection to the moon and she needed it now more than ever. She'd been locked into her castle, controlled by a dark figure she dared not put a name to. Larien was trying to reach her, but couldn't get inside the palace. As far as the princess knew, Larien had gone for help.

Dasher was saddling up his pony--he was a Hobbit and therefore too small for a regular horse. He put his cloak on and took a long look back at the Shire. Would he be back? He bit his lip. There was someone he wanted to see... the girl he'd loved all these long years, but had never spoken to. Azaelia, his dear Azaelia... she was so beautiful, and always made him smile.

Mackenzie was being dragged along after a long, heavy bout of interrogation. Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth and she was thrown to the ground at Bryce's feet, her hands cuffed together in front of her. She struggled to sit up and she looked up at him, noticing Q standing nervously beside him. Her eyes widened.

Mackenzie's fingers played across her keyboard expertly and she lifted her eyes from the movement to note the numbers rolling across her screen. She took a deep breath and then puffed out her cheeks, tapping just a few more keys to bring up a visual on her friend. She chewed at her lip and spoke into the microphone headset she was wearing.
"You can hear me, correct, Iris?"
This was the last mission they would have together before Iris was brought officially into MI6. To be honest, the redheaded hacker was a little let down. She wouldn't be able to have the same frequency of contact that she used to have with her best friend. And Kenzie disliked being alone.
