Monster Mingle is an island of discovery, have great fun helping your little monster bounce, run, fly and swim their way around the island, swapping essential body parts to change form and explore the land, sea and sky. A free play imagination landscape helps children to get creative, building the creatures they want and learning what it takes to fly high, swim fast and just walk around.
#The Test
Finn and Poppy loved playing Monster Mingle, it was so much fun to watch the excitement on their little faces at each subtle change to the monsters and their environment, as they helped them explore through the different parts of this magical world.
If they collect a part they don’t like they swap it back and move forward. With so many different sizes, shapes, features, terrains and motions it took 3 or 4 plays to find everything. The kids especially enjoyed flying, after stumbling upon the wings, enabling them to reach the clouds and find all the hidden ledges.
With so many creatures to bump into and interact with, each with their own different quirky voices, meant there were lots of giggles and fun surprises. With the nature of the endless environment, and with so much changing along the way, I found that the kids would just keep playing for as long as you would allow, which makes it a great app to take the boredom away, but in a very stress free way.
Finn rated the app 3/5
Poppy rated the app 10/5
#The Verdict
Cool monsters, Musical fauna and Endless play....

Introducing West Auckland Parents Centre's Outdoor Explorers Preschooler Playgroup!
On the first Monday of the month, commencing May 2014, an preschooler playgroup, will undertake an expedition to a different West Auckland park & playground monthly. We will take a stroll to explore the park and then let the kids try out the playground!
This group is designed for parents & caregivers of both small babies and active young children. We will explore different parks, meets involve a short walk & exploration of local parks, talking with other parents and learning through playing outdoors.
It’s free and everyone is welcome! We will post details on WAPC's facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/WestAuckPC) of upcoming trips and provide a report in the form of a blogpost and short article for Tiny Talk of our adventures.
We will announce the first of our destinations in coming weeks but if you have any suggestions or input-we'd love to hear it?!
'The feedback we got from #fourlittletesters was some of the best and most insightful feedback we've received. We ended up incorporating every suggestion, and our only wish is that we had found them sooner! The detail of the feedback we received went beyond our expectations, and we are very thankful to #fourlittletesters for working with us to make our app better. They are such a pleasure to work with, and I would also encourage developers to follow their blog/Facebook/Twitter feeds to keep abreast of what is the best-of-the-best in this space. Thank you #fourlittletesters !'
