"A healthy outside, starts from the inside" - Anonymous. My besties have all been aware of the lifestyle changes I have been making for a while. For those who don't know, I have been struggling with #hypothyroidism for going on two years now. I do take #amourthyroid meds consistently and #synthroid whenever my doc suggests. I came across #humnutrition supplements not too long ago and needless to say... I fell in love π. Please note: I do NOT take all of these supplements everyday! I switch them up as I feel I need to and I do NOT take the recommended serving; it's a personal thing. I always cut the serving size in half. These are vegan/vegetarian based supplements that aid in keeping me on track. Here's what I've been doing to shed pounds and sculpt my body: 1. Eating clean, even through the HOLIDAYS! I have not had any sweets in 3 months and avoid sugar as much as possible (I have a sugar addiction so I try not to even touch it). I do have carbs in moderation and loads of fruits and veggies π 2. I track my fitness, macros, and calories with #myfitnesspal app and the #underarmourrecord app. Yes, I have a food scale and I measure out what I eat and track it. It's not difficult for me since I don't eat out and it's just something that works for me. 3. I stay as active as possible. Ladies, don't be scared of lifting weights π. The bottom line is this...they give you shape. Even at my smallest weight I was always scared to lift because I thought I was bulking up...not true! I also workout with #fitnessblenders on #Youtube and they are bomb! π 4. Set a water goal. I track my water intake with an app and strive for a gallon a day and even though I don't always reach, I still try. Water will help you burn calories better and suppress your appetite ππ½. 5. Get an accountability partner, somebody that is non judge mental and will help you to keep pushing when everybody is trying to shove cake π down your throat. Mine is @veri_beauty π. So far, I have lost 15 pounds and kept it off. I still have a personal goal I want to reach so I'm still going. Know that you can do it and screw anybody else that says you can't! π
