They secrete a highly adhesive substance through a large gland on their underbellies. Because of their slick scales that are coated with their own anti-adhesive, they cannot be caught in their own traps while devouring their prey. When eating their prey, they first use the vice-like tusks around their heads to cut large pieces down, and then use the thousands of tiny teeth found inside the roofs of their mouths to break it down even more. They travel in herds and are very quick, so they are known to be extremely dangerous.
