Sorry my English isn't the best, but if you're asking about Sci being inspired by an existing character from Danganronpa (v3), no, they're actually all original — like imagine Danganronpa creates another main game with 16 different casts, that's how I would answer because none of them are related, replaced or highly based on somebody else.

However, all the skeletons are based of my interpretation, so I can sorta see Shuichi Saihara in Sci as in personality wise (especially if Blue is Sci's rival, kinda like Kokichi Ouma).

Hope my answer makes sense! And for whoever has similar personalities that reminds me of Kaito Momota, that would actually be Dance!

It may seem like it at the beginning but it's not following the direction of DR2's plot down to the T. I can say it's inspired by all of the Danganronpa games in some way, mainly as the main base concept since I'm taking it more towards an original approach by adding my own motives, themes and such.

I guess "UnderDespair: The Ultimate Crossover" is actually a fusion AU to make the most sense?

The "Crossover" in the full title is meant to be the skeletons from different AUs all meet and stay together in one AU, like CPAU (then fuse the setting with DR concepts).
