Over on ComicFury, there's a fun yearly character-building exercise where you force your characters to answer a total of 100 random questions, one per day. I liked Quill's answer here so much that I decided it was worthy of a mini-comic.

FYI: Please don't eat actually try to eat the "wild glizzies". Some people have gone to the hospital due to the cattail fluff getting stuck in their throat. :(

Yandere! Underfell! Mettaton 4

You were a little nervous to be in Alphys’ lab, but it helped that Undyne was with you. There was a while where you were sat in a room by yourself while Undyne and Alphys were in the other room arguing on weather the captain of the guard was actually under mind control or not. When they had come to the conclusion that you were not able to control minds and that you should be helped and not experimented on, the two monsters came out of the room. “Well, human. It seems that I was mistaken about a few things. But, I’m willing to put the past behind us if you are.” Alphys chuckled awkwardly. You were honestly a little more leery at the moment because of what you had just been through, but you decided that you should at least give Alphys a second chance. That’s what you did with all the other monsters, and it’s only fair to do the some for her.

After the two of you talked for awhile and worked out how humans actually functioned (she was still uncontainably curious about them) she did actually seem to want to make up for trying to trick you into becoming one of her experiments. “To show how truly apologetic I am: I’ll personally go and get that worthless piece of scrap called Mettaton, and make sure to fix whatever it was that made him go after you.” Though she probably truly meant to help you, you got the feeling that Alphys also wanted to do something that would make her look heroic in your eyes. You were about to tell her that it was alright, and you had seen enough of Mettaton for quite some time, but she was already out the door before you could.

“I will never fully understand that woman.” Undyne wondered aloud as she watched the door the scientist just walked through. You were about to tease her about how she obviously like Alphys, but then realized that teasing Undyne was probably a bad idea. Sure, you two were friends now, but there were still some jokes that you couldn’t try on her until you knew her for longer. Undyne looked at you, and if you didn’t know any better, you could have sworn that sympathy flashed through her eyes. “I can’t believe he tried to… just-he’s so disgusting!” She snapped when she thought back to how she found you and Mettaton. You just sat there not wanting to talk about it, but she continued, probably in hopes of making you a little more trusting of monsters again. “Even the worst of us down here would consider what Mettaton did to be vile. We aren’t all like him.”

Before she could say anything else, your new phone that Alphys gave you to replace your old one started to ring. You answered it, but before you could even say, “Hello,” a voice erupted, “He’s gone!” over the speaker. “Um, I’m sorry. What?” You quested, hoping that it wasn’t who you thought it was saying what you thought they were. “Don’t you understand!? Mettaton- this is Alphys speaking by the way- is not where Undyne said she left him!” Alphys shouted at you. “Okay…” you started as you tried to keep yourself calm, “What should I do?” Alphys thought for a moment before responding, “I’m going to open the door to my lower lab. It’s one of the most secure places in the entire underground. Go in there, and I’ll lock the door behind you, so nothing can follow. Undyne can stay up and guard the upper level until I find Mettaton. His batteries won’t last forever, especially with the state he’s in. He’ll probably try to sneak back there to charge after awhile.” You took a moment to tell Undyne what Alphys just said, and she agreed to watch the upper level of the lab. “One last thing, human.” Alphys started right before she hung up, “Try not to touch anything that looks expensive.”

The lab door slammed and locked behind you with a bang that made you jump because of how on edge you were. There wasn’t much time to think about that, though, because you found out that the small room you were in was actually an elevator when it started moving. Once the it had stopped, you walked down a few hallways before you came into a large room filled with beds. After deciding that it would be alright to sit down on one, you did so and stared messing with your phone. It looked that there was no signal, at least where you were, so there would be no way for you to call anyone. If this place was a secure as Alphys said it was, then there would be no need to, right? “hĒŁlø, m¥ Dęår.” An all too familiar, yet now glitched voice crooned behind you, and you knew that things were about to get very, very bad for you.

Mid-November I was occupied by a business trip and all. And, for the same reason, I didn't have anything done for Quill's birthday (November 14). So I used Quill him instead of Nib for the art exercise.

Hey, so real talk for a quick minute: I've alluded to having personal problems in real life, I think enough time has passed to talk about it - my mom was hit by a car in 2022, and a month after that incident I almost lost my job. If I didn't talk it much back then, it had to do largely with the fact that the car accident was a legal matter and I couldn't talk about it until the case was resolved.

Needless to say, this is why I haven't been making comics the past two years and been doing smaller posts. I actually somehow managed to singlehandedly prevent the company from shutdown and save my job (and pretty much everyone's job in that company), this while handling the legalities of my mom's car accident, but my brain is still in a funk state, and I gotta be honest for a quick minute that I am not yet at that state where I can mash out a comic every 3 to 6 months or so. Still mentally recovering to get back to that form of normal. TvT

That said, I can still create small stuff from time to time. You guys seem to like the MTT music stuff I post, maybe I might do more. Anyways, I don't draw Qull!Mettafell enough despite many of you expressing an interest in him. If you're on ComicFury, then you know what collab this image is for. It's now canon that he plays an electroacoustic guitar now. :>
