Big Announcement regarding UnderQueens
We moderators of UQ have been doing a lot of thinking since our last announcement. It has been two whole years since Undertale was created, and almost one year since Underqueens made our first comic post. Unfortunately, we as a group feel as though we have lost touch with the Undertale community.
This idea for a comic sparked from one silly joke on one of @xedramon‘s streams. One person commented on how Spear of Justice would be a terrible alarm to wake up to. Another commented on how Frisk would react to having Undyne as Fish Mum. And thus the creation began. This comic was created out of fun. The moderators have gotten to know each other and even play games together online. But trying to continue what we started is no longer fun for us.
It has been an absolute blast showing you guys even just the little snippet of what we had in store. We never expected to have just over 600 followers! We are sorry for not finishing what we started, but as a collective we feel as though we can no longer do Underqueens the justice it deserves. Despite this, Undertale will always be dear to our hearts.
In the coming days we will be posting the official list of shifts that we had planned for this universe, along with concept art for the characters. If you feel as though you would like to continue Underqueens, you are free to do so as long as you reference us for the origin of the idea. Similarly if you wish to use Underqueens as inspiration to a similar AU, quote us as reference and you may do so.
