As I approach 30, I am reflecting on the lives I didn’t have. I didn’t live in with my best friend in my 20s, I don’t have a tight knit mixed gender friendship group from high school or university. I’ll never have a high school sweetheart. It can feel very mournful to acknowledge these but I like my life, and am letting them go. It is okay

Going to a new book club tonight so of course I’ve been uncomfortable all day and just walked to the tube, a sense of overwhelming dread like I’m getting executed. I miss when I was in therapy and I could tell my therapist the most inane shit and he would say it was an achievement
