🕸️ Sona Concept: The Chainweaver 🕸️

Species: Human/monster hybrid—primarily humanoid but with spiderlike features (multiple eyes, subtle fangs, spider legs that can emerge from their back).

Appearance:

Hair: Black, streaked with deep purple and subtle orange highlights. Maybe a messy or spiky style, showing a bit of that playful chaos.

Eyes: Eight eyes (four on each side of the face)—the main pair are larger, glowing purple with slit pupils; the others are smaller and faintly orange.

Skin: Pale or grayish with faint spiderweb tattoos or markings in purple ink. A black widow–like hourglass or a hibiscus flower can be incorporated into the markings.

Outfit: A mix of punk and streetwear—ripped black jeans, a black leather vest or jacket with chains draped across, and an orange hibiscus flower pinned to the lapel. A choker or necklace with a small spider charm or a knotted chain detail.

Arms/Legs: Long, graceful fingers tipped with black claws. When agitated or excited, spider legs (skeletal, made of shadow or inky black material) can sprout from their back like an unsettling but captivating halo.

Accessories: Chains and knots wrapped around arms and legs, some of which they can manipulate like living threads to bind or control others—a nod to the “UnderSnare” theme.

Personality:

Playful yet cynical: Teasing, sarcastic, but with a smirk that hints they’ve seen too much to be fully sincere. Loves weaving half-truths and riddles.

Protector of the Project: Keeps things running smoothly, but has a “puppet master” vibe—always pulling strings from the shadows.

Curious but guarded: Enjoys tinkering with ideas and messing with people’s heads, but keeps personal feelings hidden beneath a web of deflections and jokes.

Hey everyone,

I know there are a lot of folks here who still remember UnderSnare, and I wanted to give you a quick update on what’s happening.

This is still an ongoing project, but unfortunately, I’ll be continuing it alone from here on out. That said, I’d love to keep this community spirit alive! If you’re interested in helping out with the project — contributing ideas, art, writing, or even just sharing your thoughts — I’ll be opening a dedicated Discord server where we can all collaborate and share our progress together.

I’ll post the Discord link soon. In the meantime, if you’d like to help, just let me know in the ask box!
